Six people along with a woman arrested on charge of raping a 14 year old girl

Chormara: Nawalpur Police arrested six people on a charge of raping a 14-year-old girl along with a woman who helped them in the incident on Saturday.

Police have arrested an Indian citizen Abhimanyu Kumar(22), Milan Magar(22) of Madhyabindu Municipality-6, Vishnu Mahato(18) and a 17-year-old boy on the charge of raping a 14-year-old girl at different times along with a woman Laxmi Kumal (23) and two boys who were involved in the incident.

According to SP Prakash Malla of the District Police Office, Nawalparasi,  Nawalpur Police is now investigating the incident of a 14-year-old girl being raped at different time periods.

The police have been collecting information about the incident along with necessary psychological counselling for the victim keeping all the accused in custody.

According to the police, the 14-year-old girl was being raped by various people since a month ago. Police came to know about the incident on October 29.

The locals of Madhyabindu-6 had informed the Chormara Police Station on suspicion of a girl being trafficked after they saw the girl with an Indian citizen Abhimanyu Kumar.

Based on the information received from the locals, the police had arrested the accused Kumar and rescued the girl. During the interrogation, it was revealed that the girl was raped by different people at different time period.

Police have been further investigating the incident informed SP Malla. While the incident is still in the investigation process, he said the police are seriously working to bring the perpetrators involved in the incident under legal remedies.
