Government urges house owners not to provide rent to any undocumented people

KATHMANDU: The government requested the house owners of Kathmandu Valley not to rent any person who does not have any official identity cards or documents to prove their identity on Monday.

Issuing a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Home Affairs urged not to rent houses, apartments, flats, rooms to any undocumented foreigners or any person and also not to employ them in any fields.

The ministry has also urged the concerned house owners to report to the nearest police station if such a person is found in their locality.

In recent days, it has been found that some foreigners are illegally entering the country by hiding their identities.
