US to donate over 100,000 Pfizer vaccines to Nepal
KATHMANDU: The United States has decided to donate 100, 620 Pfizer Covid-19 vaccines to Nepal.
The vaccines will arrive on Monday, the US Embassy in Kathmandu said.
Earlier in July, the United Stated had donated 1.5 million Johnson and Johnson vaccines.
Meanwhile, Nepal is planning to procure 6 million Pfizer vaccines from the United States.
The government has decided to vaccinate all the children above 12 years of age with the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine from November 14.
