Province govt to provide Rs 2.5 million each to all districts in Sudurpaschim

KAILALI: The Province government has decided to provide Rs 2.5 million each to all the flood affected districts of the Sudurpaschim Province.

A meeting of the Office of Chief Minister and Council of Ministers held on Tuesday decided to provide Rs 2.5 million to all the districts to carry out rescue operations and to provide relief to the people affected by the floods, government spokesperson and Internal Affairs and Law Minister Purna Joshi said.

“The budget is for now. We will provide additional relief after the exact details of the damage are known,” she said.

The Province government has decided to provide Rs 250 million to the State Disaster Response Fund.
