Home Ministry transfers CDOs of 7 districts (With list)

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Home Affairs has transferred and reshuffled responsibilities of Chief District Officers of five districts including joint secretaries and an under secretaries.

A Home Ministerial meeting held on Sunday decided to transfer 12 government officials including Chief District Officers.

According to the decision, Chief District Officer of Kailali Khagendra Prasad Rijal has been transferred to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Chief District Officer of Dolpa Madhav Prasad Dhakal has been transferred to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority,  Chief District Officer of Mustang Shreenath Paudel has been transferred to Rolpa as Assistant Chief District Officer.

Similarly, Chief District Officer of Arghakhanchi Bishnu Paudel and Chief District Officer of Syangja Deepak Raj Nepal have been transferred to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Likewise, Joint Secretaries Kiran Thapa has been transferred to Kailali, Jagannath Panta to Palpa, Hari Prasad Ghimire to Arghakhanchi and Under Secretary of National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority has been transferred to Sindhupalchok as the Chief District Officer.

Meanwhile, Department of Prison Management Director Bednidhi Adhikari has been transferred to Dolpa, Under Secretary Netra Prasad Sharma to Mustang and Under Secretary Raju Prasad Paudel has been transferred to Syangja as the CDO.
