Fulpati brought to Dashainghar in Hanumandhoka (With photos and video)

KATHMANDU: The ‘fulpati’ brought from Gorkha has been anointed at the Dashainghar in Hanumandhoka Durbar on Tuesday, the seventh day of the Dashain festival. The fulpati was brought to the Dashainghar at 4 pm today.

Fulpati is an assortment of flowers, leaves and fruits of different plants.

The Gurujyuko Platoon, Nepal Army, Nepal police, Armed Police Force personnel, government officials, Asha Gurja team, panchebaja bands and decorated kalsyoulis, and a procession along with cultural pageantry left Hanuman Dhoka from Jamal with the fulpati brought from Gorkha at 3:30 pm.

Secretary Yadav Prasad Koirala of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation among others were present in the programme.
