PM Deuba to keep Ministry of Industry with himself for now

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has decided to take the responsibility of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies.

Prime Minister Deuba decided to keep the Ministry with himself for now after Minister Gajendra Hamal tendered his resignation on Sunday.

Hamal resigned from the post of Minister after he was dragged into controversy over his appointment as minister.

It has been learnt that he was appointed a minister at the behest of Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana.
