UML Chair Oli accuses SC, EC and Speaker of assisting in splitting party

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has accused Supreme Court, Election Commission and Speaker of assisting in splitting the party.

Presenting a political document at the statute general convention in Godawari, Lalitpur on Friday, Oli said that he adopted utmost flexibility to prevent the UML from splitting.

In a 57-page document, he explained briefly about the national, international and internal issues of the party.

On the occasion, Chairman Oli extended a special thanks to all the leaders who did not support the efforts of Madhav Nepal to split the party.

He went on to accuse CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushap Kamal Dahal of splitting the Nepal Communist Party.

Chairman Oli has accused Nepal and Dahal of hatching a conspiracy to topple the government of communist party from the beginning by splitting the Nepal Communist Party.

Meanwhile, saying that the UML is the continuation of the NCP, he said that the UML will carry the legacy of Nepal Communist Party.
