CAN Vice President Shrestha, Secretary Pyakurel resign

KATHMANDU: Cricket Association on Nepal (CAN) Vice President Raju Babu Shrestha and Secretary Ashok Nath Pyakurel tendered their resignation on Wednesday.

They put in their papers expressing dissatisfaction with Chairman Chatur Bahadur Chand.

“We established Cricket Association of Nepal with a lot of hardship and struggle. Now, we would like to stay outside by resigning at this glorious moment,” they said.

“We fought with everyone when CAN was weak. Now, we would like to resign from CAN as it has become strong from all sides,” the duo further said.
