Two Indian nationals held with undeclared Rs 9.5 million from Nagdhunga
KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two Indian nationals in possession of Rs 9.5 million undeclared money from Nagdhunga, Kathmandu on Friday.
The arrestees have been identified as Sagar Mali (26) and Krishna Adhade (19) of Maharastra, India.
The duo were heading towards Kathmandu from Chitwan in a micro bus (Ga 1 Kha 6645) when a team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Nagdhunga, nabbed them during a routine security check yesterday night.
Issuing a statement on Saturday, the Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu, said that Rs 4.5 million was confiscated from Mali while Rs 5 million from Adhade.
Police said that they are looking into the case.
