Chand-led CPN displays show of strength in Capital against MCC (With photos)

KATHMANDU: Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) organised a mass gathering in the Capital against the Millenium Challenge Corporation (MCC) on Monday.

The rallies taken out from multiple places of the Capital like Tripureshwor, Lainchaur and Babarmahal converged into a corner assembly at Sundhara.

The protesters chanted slogans like scrap anti-national MCC compact and protect national sovereignty among others.

Meanwhile, addressing the gathering, Party General Secretary Chand said that the MCC is against National interest and sovereignty.
