NEPSE CEO Chandra Singh Saud resigns

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Chandra Singh Saud has resigned on Tuesday.

Earlier on August 20, the Finance Committee of the House of Representatives had decided to take action against Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) Chairman Bhisma Raj Dhungana and Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Chief Executive Officer Chandra Singh Saud for taking unfair advantage of their position while purchasing the shares.

Saud submitted his resignation letter to the Ministry in the presence of Dhungana.

“I have not misused my position. I bought the shares as per the law,” he said, adding,” I decided to put in his papers to facilitate the investigation process.”
