4 go missing after landslide buries house in Rasuwa

RASUWA: Four persons have gone missing when a landslide triggered by heavy rainfall buried a house at Koldanda in Naukunda Rural Municipality-5, Rasuwa district on Wednesday night.

Shyam Bahadur Galan, the owner of the damaged house, was injured in the disaster, police said. He has been sent to the Trishuli Hospital for treatment, said Chief District Officer Ishwori Prasad Dhakal.

A team of Nepal Police, Nepali Army and Armed Police Force have been sent to the incident site for rescue operations, he said.

The incident site is around 50 kilometres south of the district headquarters, Dhunche.
