Govt committed to bring more programmes to revive economy hit hard by Covid-19

KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Janardan Sharma has said that enough programmes should be brought to revive the country’s economy hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Presenting the white paper at the House of Representatives on Tuesday, Minister Sharma said that the government is committed to bring more programmes to recover the loss faced by the country after the Covid-19 gripped the nation.

Minister Sharma said that Covid-19 has weaken the foundation of country’s economy.

He said that the economic growth the country has been achieving at an average of 7 percent before the fiscal year 2019/20 could not be achieved due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
