Government plans to vaccinate all citizens by March next year
KATHMANDU: The government has prepared a common minimum programme with 11-point priorities.
The Sher Bahadur Deuba-led government, which was formed with the support of Nepali Congress, CPN-Maoist Centre, Janata Samajbadi Party-Nepal, Rastriya Janamorcha and Madhav Nepal faction of the CPN-UML, has given topmost priority to resolving the humanitarian crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The joint common minimum programme prepared by a task force of ruling coalition has summitted the document to Prime Minister Deuba and senior leaders of the coalition today itself.
The minimum programme includes vaccinating all the citizens against Covid-19 by March next year, taking initiatives to amend the constitution with consensus among the parties and implementing federalism among others.
