Nepal Covid-19 tally: 3,106 new cases, 1,916 recoveries, 23 deaths on Sunday

KATHMANDU : In the past 24 hours,  Nepal recorded 3,106 new cases of COVID-19 along with 1,916 recoveries and 23 deaths due to COVID-19.

In this period, 9,263 swab samples were tested in the RT-PCR method, of which 2,280 returned positive. Likewise, 4,256 people underwent antigen tests for the virus, of which an additional 826 tested positive.

Likewise, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 775 new cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 517 were detected in Kathmandu, 94 in Bhaktapur and 164 in Lalitpur districts.

In the past 24 hours, 28,941 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19.
