China Wins The First Gold Medal Of The Tokyo Olympics

Tokyo: The first gold of the Olympic Games held in Tokyo has been won by YANG Qian from China. YANG Qian of China grabs first gold in the women’s 10m air rifle event.

YANG Qian won the 10m women’s air rifle final and also set a new Olympic record with 251.8 points. Anastasia Galasina of Russia and Nina Christen pf Switzerland won silver and bronze medals respectively.
