NCC demands Covid-19 vaccines for private sector
KATHMANDU: Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) has demanded the government to provide vaccines against the Covid-19 to the private sector.
Extending congratulations and best wishes to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, NCC President Rajendra Malla demanded that the government provide 10 percent of the total imported vaccines to industrialists, transport entrepreneurs and to those people who have played a pivotal role to uplift the economy of the country.
Saying that the private sector has been hit hard following the outbreak of Covid-19, Malla demanded that the government provide vaccines to the private sector at the earliest to help uplift the economy of the country.
Nepal’s economy and job opportunity will grow only if the government gives priority to the private sector.
In response, Prime Minister Deuba said that the government is ready to cooperate with the private sector to revive the country’s economy decimated by the pandemic.
NCC senior Vice-President Kamalesh Kumar Agrawal, Vice-President Deepak Kumar Malhotra, Urmila Shrestha, Surendra Shrestha and Tribhuvandhar Tuladhar among others were present in the programme.
