PM Deuba’s instructions: Early preparations for third wave of COVID-19

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has drawn the attention of the concerned faction to start preparations for the third wave of COVID.

Summoning the Secretary of the Ministry of Health, eminent experts, Director General of the Department of Health Services, Chief of Vaccination Division and others to Baluwatar, Prime Minister Deuba instructs to immediately set up holding centers at border checkpoints, increase the scope of testing, and manage oxygen, beds and ICU in hospitals, according to his secretariat.

He also directed to expedite the procurement of COVID vaccine and make arrangements for easy vaccination by increasing the number of vaccination centers.
