CCMC recommends Cabinet to resume long-haul public vehicles with condition
KATHMANDU: Covid-19 Crisis Management Centre (CCMC) has recommended the Cabinet to resume long-haul passenger vehicles with condition.
CCMC on Friday recommended the council of ministers to resume the long-route public vehicles by studying the situation of the corona virus cases, CCMC spokesperson Nurhari Khatiwada said.
“We have recommended the Cabinet to resume long-route vehicles with condition for now,” Khatiwada said.
He said that the CCMC had urged the government to resume the long-route public vehicles for now with a condition that it can halt the operation of vehicles when the cases started to surge.
Khatiwada said that the Cabinet should approve the recommendation as the operation of long-route vehicles would help ease people’s lives.
He surmised that the next Cabinet meeting would discuss the resumption of long-route public vehicles.
