UML not to give trust vote to Deuba-led government
KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has decided not to extend support and give trust vote to the Sher Bahadur Deuba-led government.
A Standing Committee meting of the party held on Wednesday had concluded that the government formed by the Supreme Court will not have legitimacy.
The party has also directed all its members of the House of Representatives to abide by the decision.
Talking to journalists after the meeting, UML spokesperson Pradeep Gyawali said that the party will never think of giving trust vote to the government.
Saying that the party would play the role of strong opposition, leader Gyawali said that those who cast vote as per the order of the Supreme Court will be their personal decision.
