2,607 new infections and 2,141 recoveries reported on Thursday

KATHMANDU: In the last 24 hours 2,607 people have been infected with coronavirus in the country. 12,484  antigen and PCR samples were tested. An additional 39 people have died. 

1,768  infections were confirmed from 7,711 PCR tests in laboratories across the country, and 4,773 antigen tests confirmed the infection in 839 people.

2,141 people have recovered. The recovery rate is 88.6%.  

The total number of infected has reached 640,040. A total of 8,597  people have lost their lives.
