Two people trapped in Melamchi hotel rescued by Army helicopter

KATHMANDU: Nepal Army has rescued two people trapped inside a hotel inundated by the Melamchi floods.

They were trapped at the Rose Hotel in Melamchi Bazaar. They were rescued by a helicopter while climbing on the roof of the hotel.

The floods had submerged the lower floors of the hotel. After that, they were in danger of not being able to get out.
