Ujjwal Thapa passes away while undergoing treatment

KATHMANDU: Ujjwal Thapa, Founding Chairman of Bibeksheel Party, has passed away.

Chairman of Sajha Bibeksheel Party Milan Pandey has informed that Thapa passed away at 4:25 PM today while undergoing treatment.

Thapa died while undergoing treatment at Mediciti Hospital. Though Thapa tested negative for COVID yesterday, his health condition was critical. He was being treated in a ventilator and with ECMO method. 

Thapa was admitted to HAMS Hospital a few days ago due to COVID infection. He was referred to Grande Hospital from HAMS and was admitted to Nepal Mediciti Hospital on 29th May after his health condition deteriorated further.
