Cabinet decides to conduct SEE examinations through internal evaluation
KATHMANDU: The government has decided to conduct the results of this year’s SEE examination through internal assessment. A meeting of the Council of Ministers held yesterday over the proposal of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has passed the decision to conduct the SEE examination according to the internal assessment method.
A Minister who participated in the meeting told Nepal Press, “Education, Science and Technology Minister Krishna Gopal Shrestha presented the proposal. As the COVID pandemic is getting worse, the meeting made a decision according to the proposal.”
The National Examination Board (NEB) had proposed to the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology on Sunday to make arrangements for conducting the SEE examination through alternative methods. On the basis of the same proposal, Education Minister Shrestha submitted the proposal to the Council of Ministers.
