600 million in India claimed to be fully vaccinated by December
NEW DELHI: It is claimed that 600 million people in India will be fully vaccinated by December. The President of the famous and prestigious Medanta Hospital of India, Dr. King Trehan has also claimed that the shortage of vaccines will end from July to August.
He said, “By December this year, 600 million people in India will have been vaccinated with the second dose. Vaccine production and vaccination campaigns are in full swing.”
Senior doctor Trehan has described India as a “hub” for the production of coronavirus vaccines. He also said that due to the large population of India, it would take a long time to vaccinate everyone.
“Normally, every person can get both doses of the vaccine in six months and the vaccine will be fully operational in eight weeks,” he said.
