Tibet government provides ICU beds, ventilators and oxygen supplies to Nepal

KATHMANDU: The government of Tibet, an autonomous region of China, has provided emergency medical supplies to Nepal to fight the pandemic.

According to Nepal’s Consul General in Lhasa Nawaraj Dhakal, Tibet has provided 600 oxygen cylinders with 40 kg capacity and liquid oxygen.

Similarly, 200 ICU beds, 10 oxygen concentrators, 5 ventilators, and 15,000 kits will be available immediately, said Dhakal.

The Tibetan government has also expressed its commitment to transport medical cargo to Nepal without any hindrances.
