7,368 new infections and 6,648 recoveries reported on Sunday

KATHMANDU: In the last 24 hours, 6,648 people have recovered from the coronavirus in Nepal. 

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, new infections have been confirmed in 7,368 people. 7,316 infections were confirmed in 19,539 PCR tests in laboratories across the country, and 344 antigen tests confirmed the infection in 52 people.

Similarly, 145 additional people have died. According to Ministry Spokesperson Dr. Jageshwar Gautam, the recovery rate from coronavirus infection in Nepal is 74.6%.
