8,167 new infections and 5,455 recoveries reported on Saturday

KATHMANDU: In the last 24 hours, 8,167 people have been infected with coronavirus in the country. 18,548 antigen and PCR samples were tested. 

187 additional people have died while 5,455 people have recovered. 

The total number of infected has reached 447,000. A total of 4,856 people have lost their lives.

The number of actively infected has reached 109,740.
