Three sisters from Dolakha successfully climb Mount Everest
KATHMANDU: Three sisters of the same family from Dolakha have successfully climbed Mt. Everest on Wednesday.
Nima Jangbu Sherpa (30), Chiring Namge Sherpa (26) and Dawa Futi Sherpa (24) of Beding, Gaurishankar Gaonpalika-9, Dolakha, reached the summit at around 7 yesterday morning. The sisters aim to set world records by climbing high mountains on all seven continents within three years.
Communications Minister Parbat Gurung has congratulated the sisters. Minister Gurung also bade farewell to the sisters by handing over the national flag at a program organized at the Ministry on 15th April.
Pemba Dorje Sherpa of Dolakha has also successfully climbed Mt. Everest for the 21st time. Pemba reached the summit of Everest at 7 AM on Wednesday.
According to Dreamers’ Destination Trek and Expedition, Pemba climbed Mt. Everest for the 21st time with the message “Save World Peace and the Environment.”
