KATHMANDU: Heavy rains have lashed various parts of the country, including the Kathmandu Valley, on Thursday morning. The heavy rains in the morning affected lives of people of Kathmandu.

As the shops are open only till 10 in the morning, people who went out for shopping and other work were hit by the rain.
