Resignation of Gandaki Chief Minister Gurung accepted by Province Chief

POKHARA: Gandaki Chief Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung has resigned. The no-confidence motion tabled against Gurung in the provincial assembly was scheduled for voting tomorrow.

Gurung has submitted his resignation to Province Chief Sita Kumari Poudel. A meeting of the CPN-UML parliamentary party was held today. Meanwhile, Province Chief Poudel has accepted Gurung’s resignation.
