Constitutional Council meeting recommends appointment of office bearers for constitutional organs

KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Constitutional Council has recommended office bearers for vacant posts of constitutional bodies, including the Public Service Commission.

Though the names were discussed at the council meeting held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar, the names will be made public through a formal process after all the decisions are documented.

Leader of the Opposition Sher Bahadur Deuba and Speaker Agni Sapkota boycotted the meeting and recommended some members from Deuba’s quota, according to sources.
