8,850 new infections and 52 deaths reported on Sunday

KATHMANDU: In the last 24 hours, an additional 8850 people have been confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus. According to the Ministry of Health, 8777 cases from PCR and 73 cases from antigen testing have been confirmed as positive.

In the last 24 hours, 52 people have died due to coronavirus infection, according to the ministry. 

There are 88,160 actively infected people across the country. Of them, 81,430 are in home isolation, while 370 are being treated in ICUs and 63 in ventilators.
