KATHMANDU: A prohibitory order has now been imposed in the Kathmandu Valley, the federal capital, as well as in most districts across the country to prevent and control the rapid spread of the new variant of coronavirus.

Due to the risk of infection, trade and businesses are completely shut. The effect of this is heavily seen in the daily routines of the general public.

Experts suggest that coronavirus-induced panic can increase mental stress, and thus it is important to stay alert. Due to the pandemic, most of the population is now indoors. The best way to reduce the impact on mental health is to use this time wisely for creative work.

We have captured on camera the activities of the elderly and children found outside their homes in Lalitpur during the lockdown-like prohibitory orders.
