KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has requested to contact the toll-free number 1133 and mobile numbers 9851255837 and 9851255839 if beds are required for the treatment of COVID-19 infected. The Ministry has published the information and requested to contact the toll-free and mobile numbers if the patients need beds or to go to the hospital.

As the second variant of the infection has spread and the number of patients has started increasing, there is a shortage of beds in the country. On Wednesday alone, 8,659 people were infected and 58 died. The Ministry has stated that beds will be provided by calling those numbers. Arrangements have been made for it to be possible to dial these numbers round the clock.
