Highest number of infections so far confirmed on Saturday

KATHMANDU: A total of 5,763 people were infected with coronavirus in Nepal on Saturday. This is the highest number of infections found within one day in the country. According to the Ministry of Health, 14, 969 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.

19 people have died due to the virus, and 1287 have recovered. The number of actively infected has reached 43,213.

Earlier, the highest number of infected people was confirmed in 5,743 people on 21st October 2020. 

The total number of infected has reached 328,893. The total death toll has reached 3,298 and the infection rate has reached 13.2 percent.
