Former Queen’s health condition critical, treatment with plasma therapy begins
KATHMANDU: Former Queen Komal Shah, who is undergoing treatment at Norvic International Hospital due to infection from COVID-19, has started receiving treatment with plasma therapy.
She has been undergoing treatment with plasma therapy since Thursday evening. Shah was shifted to the ICU on Wednesday evening due to respiratory problems and lack of oxygen.
She was treated with plasma therapy after her health condition did not improve, according to Norvic Hospital.
Even today, she is being kept in support of high flow oxygen. The condition of Former King Gyanendra Shah, who is also undergoing treatment at the hospital, is normal and stable.
He is also currently on normal oxygen support. Gyanendra’s daughter Prerna’s condition is normal.
All three were admitted to Norvic Hospital last Saturday. A few days ago, their swab test confirmed COVID infection.
