Government sends diplomatic note to South Korea to supply AstraZeneca vaccine

KATHMANDU: South Korea will provide medical supplies and necessary assistance to Nepal against COVID-19.

Health Minister Hridayesh Tripathi and South Korean Ambassador Park Chong-Suk met after the government sent a diplomatic note to a South Korean manufacturer requesting the supply of the AstraZeneca vaccine.

According to the embassy, ​​the government had requested the supply of the COVID-19 vaccine AstraZeneca. South Korean company SK Bioscience has been producing Oxford and AstraZeneca vaccines.
