CCMC meeting to be held today, pressure on government to close educational institution

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Covid Crisis Management Center (CCMC) is being held at the Prime Minister’s Office Singha Durbar today at 2 pm as all-around pressure continues to close the educational institution.

The meeting will discuss how to reduce the risk of the new species of corona spreading at the community level and affecting children the most.

The CCMC is expected to take some important decisions in the face of rising transition rates. The Ministry of Health has declared 14 districts as sensitive areas and asked them to close schools and congested areas.

The parliamentary committee of the National Assembly had also directed the government to close it immediately on Friday.
