Appeal for second wave risk control put on hold, Prime Minister to address the nation tomorrow
KATHMANDU: The appeal by ministers including Deputy Prime Minister Ishwar Pokharel to provide information on new public health standards due to the rise in the new variant of coronavirus infections has been postponed at the last minute.
A Press Conference was scheduled at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers to provide information on the government’s policy on risk control of the second phase of COVID-19 and the regulations to be followed by the public.
According to Dipendra Shrestha, Chief Personal Secretary to the Deputy Prime Minister, the conference was postponed at the last minute and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is set to address the nation on Wednesday morning.
