Prime Minister Oli expresses grief over demise of Britain’s Prince Philip

KATHMANDU: Expressing his condolences over the death of British Prince Philip, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said that Nepal has lost a good friend.

Philip died at the age of 99 on Friday. Queen Elizabeth’s second husband, Philip, married her in 1947.

Following his death, Prime Minister Oli tweeted in sympathy to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and British citizens, saying Philip’s death had made him lose a “good friend” and a champion of “social welfare”.
