Desire of Congress to form government with failed communists is astonishing: Kamal Thapa

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Kamal Thapa has commented on the Nepali Congress’ exercise for a coalition government.
Through social media, Thapa said, “The desire of the Congress to form a government with the failed and corrupt communists is astonishing.”
“In the last election, people voted for communism for stability and prosperity. A war based on power and money broke out in the CPN, betraying the people. By refusing to form a government with the same communists, the Congress should go for new elections, Thapa wrote.
A meeting of Nepali Congress officials held on Friday had decided to hold discussions for power cooperation between the parties opposing the move to dissolve the parliament.
