Bamdev urges Oli and Prachanda to convene a Secretariat Meeting in Dhumbarahi
KATHMANDU: Bamdev Gautam, coordinator of the divided CPN and vice-chairman of the party, has demanded the resignation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
In a press release on Wednesday, Gautam said that the Prime Minister should resign without delay and the President should convene a meeting of the House of Representatives welcoming the court’s decision.
Rejecting the split, Gautam said that both the chairpersons KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda are requested to convene a secretariat meeting at the party office in Dhumbarahi immediately.
Oli’s party currently has an office in Dhumbarahi. Gautam called the Supreme Court’s decision historic.
