Security Council and Council of Ministers meeting scheduled for today 

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called a cabinet meeting. A meeting of the Security Council was scheduled for 10 a.m. today.

As the Security Council meeting and the Council of Ministers meeting have been convened together, there will be some discussions on latest political developments and the security of the upcoming election.

According to a source, the Security Council and the Council of Ministers are likely to lift the ban on the CPN today.

Foreign Minister Pradip Gyawali said that the government had responded positively to their desire to come peacefully and was ready to create a conducive environment for this.
