Local Representatives and Government Employees being vaccinated from today

KATHMANDU: The Government has started a vaccination campaign against COVID for government employees and local representatives from today. The Ministry of Health has informed that those who are in the second priority in the first phase will be vaccinated from today till 20th February.

The Government started a vaccination campaign against COVID on 27th January. In the first phase, frontline workers deployed against the pandemic were vaccinated.

The second priority is to vaccinate government and private office workers, security personnel and local elected representatives. For this, more than 200 vaccination centers have been identified across the country.

According to the Ministry, frontline health workers, security personnel, health volunteers, ambulances and hearse drivers that were missed in the first priority can also be vaccinated.
