KATHMANDU: Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) leader Ram Kumari Jhankri has been arrested by the police from her residence in Sankhamul.

After Ram Kumari was arrested and taken to the Metropolitan Crime Branch, supporters blocked the road in New Baneshwor for some time, chanting slogans.
