KATHMANDU: The main opposition party Nepali Congress, which has taken to the streets calling the dissolution of the parliament unconstitutional, is staging demonstrations in Tundikhel and all 77 districts of the capital on Saturday.
18 associations of the Nepali Congress have gathered in Tundikhel to protest against the government. Rallies are being held from different parts of the capital, gathering in Tundikhel.
They have protested by tying placards and black bandages with anti-government slogans. Congress has also urged to follow the COVID safety protocols during the demonstration.
A meeting of the Congress Central Committee held on 26th January had decided to mobilize fraternal organizations and well-wishers’ demonstrations across the country in the third phase of the protests against the government.
