Civic protest against Dissolution of House of Representatives

KATHMANDU: Writers, journalists, literary activists and other civil activists have marched from Lainchaur to Rashtrapati Bhawan near Office of President of Nepal (Shital Niwas) on Friday calling the dissolution of the House of Representatives a regression.

They held a rally there as police did not allow them to proceed from Panipokhari. Addressing the gathering, Krishna Khanal, Shyam Shrestha and others made a remark that the Prime Minister was preparing for autocracy.

About two dozen activists including Khagendra Sangraula, Narayan Wagle and Sanjiv Upreti participated in the march.
