Vaccination campaign begins in Nepal
Vaccination campaign against COVID has started in Nepal from today.
Enthusiasm is high with the start of the vaccination campaign. The first case of COVID infection in Nepal was found on January 24 last year.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli inaugurated the vaccination campaign at 10:23 am.
Health workers, security personnel, cleaners, hearse drivers, ambulance drivers and others will be vaccinated at 120 vaccination centers across the country.
Minister for Health and Population Hridayesh Tripathi informed that 12,000 people would be vaccinated on the same day.
Nepal has become the second country in South Asia after India to launch a vaccination campaign against COVID. India has given 1 million doses of vaccine to Nepal as a grant.
